In the Trenches

Hi everyone!

I finally got some feedback from the organization helping out on the delay with ’name hidden’s passport situation:

“Hi. My lead guy of my team was brutally beaten by the Taliban before Christmas. He’s been recovering but had to cease all activities. We should be up n running very soon. Updates have been sketchy. And zero movement has occurred in any front. ’name hidden’ is one of 25 cases we are working. I was hesitant to work it because I knew what we had working at the time, but I thought we could manage it quickly. Then it took time to raise the money. We lost the window. But we will be on it again here very soon. My apologies.”

In the mean time I heard some amazing news from Vida earlier today!

“My brother, I have another witness... here are some friends from Herat province who have come to Kabul for two months and this is their aunt's house. I have been asked about my Christianity for a long time. I explained their questions very lovingly. They will be glad now that they can accept Jesus. I taught them the salvation prayer and they accepted Jesus. These two are brothers and sisters, they want to go to Iran. I am happy that I was able to bring the gospel to their hearts ✝️❤️👑🙌”

Let’s keep them in our prayers as well! I’ll try to catch their names in our next conversation.

Me and ’name hidden’ are also talking about her ministry while being in this transition period. We have the idea of her recording videos in her language that can help bring the gospel out into her country through the internet and share words of encouragement to other believers. She would record them on her phone and I’ll be able to make sure her face is not recognizable for her safety and upload those on our YouTube channel.
