Sharing the Gospel

Dear brothers & sisters,

This update is coming a bit sooner as we have more to share.

First of all, I realized I haven’t shared any of the Christmas projects updates. So much was accomplished and my team in Pakistan is still working through the photos and uploading them periodically on our Facebook page.

A special shout-out to the Sunday School teachers, who did a lot this seasons and are dedicated to serve the children this year.

Brick yard families in Pakistan

Below is a photo of our visit to the brick yard site. As mentioned in a previous email, we are connecting with 25 christian families from a brick yard in Sheikhupura who are living in severe poverty and oppression. For Christmas we have organized a meal for all the families and gifts for the all the children there. (If you haven’ watched it, there is a short video explaining the brick yard situation in Pakistan)

At the moment these families are having a more than usual difficult time due to weather conditions. The factories are shut down and the families are not given the usual small amounts to buy food and clothing. So we will be delivering food rations for 25 families to sustain them for a month along with winter jackets. The total cost is around $1500 CAD. ($50 for food rations for 1 family x25, with the remainder for winter jackets and transport there)

God is doing something amazing! As mentioned last time, we were discussing creating videos to share the gospel and encourage other believers in Afghanistan. Our sister in Christ is very excited for creating video for God’s glory by sharing about Jesus Christ and His love for us.

I also want to mention since this video ministry is public we are taking extra safety measures to make sure her identity is hidden everywhere. The taliban is actively searching for anyone who has anything to do with christianity. She has mentioned to me that even commenting on a christian video is reason enough to be arrested, let alone creating content.

As this mailing list is public for anyone to receive updates, I have deleted her name and photos in previous posts and will refer to her in the future as ‘sister in Christ’. I have created a new YouTube channel and TikTok channel where the videos will be uploaded. In the videos she appears in the dark, so her face wouldn’t be recognized.

We have been translating the videos to english as well, so you are able to understand her videos as well and we have uploaded several videos already and continue to upload more.
